IPHush
Private Internet Service
IPHush is a VPN and proxy service that runs on the Mirage network. A sixteen-digit account number is the whole sign-up — no name and no email — tunnels use WireGuard with keys made on the device, and the service publishes a policy of keeping no connection logs.
The problem
A private connection should not depend on trusting a provider with a name, an email and a record of where you went.
- Sign-ups that ask for an identity before they protect anything
- Providers that keep connection records they could be asked to hand over
- DNS lookups that leave the tunnel and reveal every site visited
- Tunnels that protect IPv4 and quietly leak IPv6
The Mirage approach
A service built around keeping as little as possible, and running on a network the group operates.
- A sixteen-digit account number replaces the name and the email
- WireGuard tunnels with keys generated on the customer's device
- Resolvers operated by IPHush inside the tunnel, with no query logs
- Exit addresses that are shared, so none points back to one account
How it works
From an account number to the open internet
- 01
Account
A sixteen-digit number; no name, no email
- 02
Tunnel
WireGuard, with the private key kept on the device
- 03
Exit
A shared exit address on the Mirage network
- 04
Internet
Websites see the exit, not the customer
Platform capabilities
Built as one platform, not a bundle of tools
- No connection logs
- IPHush's published policy: browsing and traffic are never recorded, stored or inspected.
- WireGuard tunnels
- Encrypted with ChaCha20-Poly1305 and Curve25519; keys are created on the device and the private key never leaves it.
- Account number, no email
- Sign-up needs no name and no email. Payment is made on a hosted checkout, so the card number never reaches IPHush.
- Own DNS resolvers
- Lookups are answered by IPHush's own resolvers inside the tunnel, with no query logs.
- IPv4 and IPv6 inside the tunnel
- Both address families travel through the tunnel, so neither leaks around it.
Technology
Engineered on the Mirage technology stack
- WireGuard tunnels with ChaCha20-Poly1305 and Curve25519
- Keys generated on the customer's device
- Resolvers operated inside the tunnel
- IPv4 and IPv6 carried together
- Runs on the network Mirage Global Technologies operates
Security
Security is an architecture decision, not a feature
